The ninth edition of the Tamil Nadu Premier League has already started on 05th June 2025 (Thursday) with defending champions Dindigul Dragons securing a 7-wicket victory over the Lyca Kovai Kings in the season opener at SNR College Cricket Ground in Coimbatore.

The eight-team tournament comprises 32 matches (league stages: 28 matches, and playoffs: 4 matches) that will be played across four cities in Tamil Nadu. This is one of the most popular T20 tournaments in India, having nurtured several players to make their debut in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

The NPR College Ground, Dindigul, will host the playoffs, including the final match on July 06 (Sunday).
